Millennium World School, Faridabad is thrilled to host Science Week from 22nd July 2024 to 26th July 2024, offering students a captivating journey into the world of science through hands-on activities and creative experiments. On Day 3, our young scientists delved into the fascinating realm of biochemistry and fluid dynamics. Grade VI students explored the biochemical makeup of food through simple yet informative tests for proteins and carbohydrates. This engaging activity not only highlighted the importance of these nutrients but also provided practical experience in scientific testing. Meanwhile, Class V students were introduced to the intriguing world of non-Newtonian fluids with the Oobleck experiment. Through this fun and messy activity, they discovered the unique properties of Oobleck, a substance that blurs the line between liquid and solid, demonstrating how it differs from everyday fluids. Science Week is designed to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and foster a lifelong interest in science. By participating in these interactive and enjoyable activities, students gain valuable hands-on experience that reinforces fundamental scientific concepts and encourages a passion for discovery."
